Our revolutionary polishing system eliminates timely diamond cutting techniques most of the time and provides a high gloss finish more economically. This technique also protects the stone from wear and spill damage. Our limestone honing techniques utilize the same polishing techniques while allowing the finished product to be left in a honed state without leaving the stone “dirty” in appearance. Unfortunately, most stone maintenance contracts do not afford the stone contractor the convenience of maintaining the floors on a daily basis. We have found a way to improve the daily aesthetics and cleanliness of the floor by working closely with the janitorial contractor to ensure that they are using proper daily cleaning techniques to ensure that the surfaces look their best in between maintenance sessions.

Metal

Our metal maintenance department includes some our most complex systems. We realize that the spectrum of different architectural metals requires very different processes and finish lacquers to maintain them. Our metal technicians understand this and give each building the specialized attentions that it requires. Mirror finished stainless steel has been difficult to maintain in the past due to warping over time from heat based scratch removal techniques. We utilize a series of abrasive scrubs to eliminate these scratches, which prevents unsightly warping over time. Some areas such as revolving door drums and kick plates cannot be efficiently maintained with lacquer. For these problems we have a clear film custom made for us which offers extremely high abrasion resistance. This same film can also be used on natural stone such as commercial vanity tops. The environment is a very important concern when it comes to architectural metal maintenance. The myriad of different chemicals and VOC emissions used can easily become an environmental nightmare if not dealt with properly. We comply with all EPA and OSHA regulations for our personal protection, chemical handling, and chemical disposal.
